Caffè Sant'Eustachio is an iconic destination in Rome just as famous as the Colosseum. Located between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, Sant'Eustachio coffee bar has been producing its signature coffee since 1938. Romans in the know stop here for their liquid fuel, daily doses of espresso and cappuccino. Why so popular?
Sant'Eustachio coffee is wood roasted, just as they did in the 1930s and '40s: slowly and naturally, without chemical processing. The coffee, selected by owner Roberto Ricci, comes from a blend of 100% Arabica high altitude grown beans. The aroma is fragrant and unique, the taste is smooth and sweet, and the acidity low.
Roberto travels the world, visiting farms, in search of the best coffee beans in Central and South America, East Africa and the Caribbean. He along with his brother Raimondo support the building of schools and hospitals in the regions where they buy their coffee. In addition, 90% of their coffee comes from organic and fair trade sources. All of these factors create a coffee known across the globe.
William Grimes, formerly of the New York Times, advised those in the U.S. seeking a perfect espresso, "When the need for a real espresso becomes overpowering, buy a ticket to Rome, tell the taxi driver to head straight for the Sant'Eustachio Caffe'. The espresso will be perfect. A little expensive, but surely worth the trouble." The choice is yours... a Roman Holiday or Gustiamo.
Sant'Eustachio Moka is ground precisely for stove-top coffee makers, like the iconic Bialetti coffee machine. It produces the compact sweet and smooth coffee in the simplicity of the classic Moka. It is also excellent for Tiramisu.
Nota Bene: All grinds of Sant'Eustachio Coffee available at Gustiamo come from the same excellent 100% arabica bean blend. Choose your grind according to your brewing method, the flavor stays the same.

Simply the best tasting coffee, from one of the oldest cafes in Rome.A blend of 100% arabica beans. No robusta weeds.Roasted with care, NEVER burnt. This coffee is not for the "Starbuck's crowd".

This coffee is so smooth and tasty. Every weekend I have it to remind me of my trip to Italy. The seller I bought it from was very good, packaged it well, and shipping charges were very fair. Other vendors that sold this to me through amazon charged me an exorbitant amount for shipping.

Somehow I've become accustomed to grabbing the first coffee I see on the street which often assaults my palate and tastes bitter, not delicate at all. The Sant' Eustachio Moka Grind Coffee is absolutely fantastic, fragrant and just as coffee should taste - if not better. I gave a container of it to my boyfriend's mother for her birthday, and the evening would not have been complete without this delicious tasting coffee from Rome. It makes any morning or evening memorable and is a must!
